Schmid Kuepfer is an owner-based architects office in Basel whose services include all aspects 
of architecture from design to construction management. Formed on the eve of Y2K, we've
earned our professional credentials on relatively complex projects for public, institutional and
private clients.


During the last decade we were, among other projects, responsible for the new animal service center in
Basel, the new operations center for the city emergency services, a prizewinning workyard for the Public
services and a private housing development for the Christoph Merian Foundation in Basel.

Current projects we work on are, among other, the refurbishment of the historic court building in Basel,
a partial refurbishment of the cultural centre Kaserne and the implementation of multiple infrastructure
buildings for the civil engineering department in Basel.
